It looks amazing, and it's one of the best things that The Lord of the Rings The Battle for Middle-earth has to offer. It's a joy to play. But unless you've seen the movies, it's a bit hard to follow, since the game lacks a narrator to explain what's going on and what the game is actually doing. It's still pretty confusing to me though, I understand the mechanics of the game, but I just don't understand how the game is working or the role of each side of the game, so I don't know what to aim at and what to defend. But that's okay because the game is fun and it's a great way to spend time. This game also really emphasizes that MMOs can be set outside of a specific IP. It's a bit like a classic board game, where you'd have several different forces fighting it out, but you're not restricted to a single game piece. You can pretty easily play it with the one piece of Middle-earth you have and still understand what's going on. It's about as close as you can get to the card/board game vibe that would be interesting to the fans of Tolkien. _________________The more sacrifices you have to make, the more amazing rewards will come. Yeah, this game is really difficult to explain (to a lay person) even without the narrative. It's an extremely straightforward experience that is actually pretty fun to play.
